China. Spring 2025

  • Shanghai

Shanghai is a great city. There are the culture, the gardens the galleries the museums. Night life and great ristorantes. We explored the Pudong district and the Art district in the central Shanghai.

  • Jangjiajei

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. This park is part of the larger Wulingyuan Scenic Area. It features more than 3,000 stone pillars and deep mist-filled canyons. We stayed locally at B&B and hiked the side trails to avoid the crowds. The park’s facilities like lifts and cable trams were exceptional.

  • Hibiscus Town

We found the town (also known as Furong) to be beautiful and unique, built around waterfalls, with old buildings, narrow streets decorated with red lanterns and countless little shops and stalls selling all kind of things, small restaurants and beautiful, photogenic views, pretty much wherever you turn to. We loved it.

  • Phoenix Town

This charming ancient town is beautifully situated along the Tuojiang River with traditional stilted houses, ancient architecture, and a peaceful atmosphere that feels like stepping back in time.

  • Nanjing

Nanjing, one of the nation's most important cities for over a thousand years, is recognized as one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China. It has been one of the world's largest cities, enjoying peace and prosperity despite various wars and disasters. Zhanyuan garden and museum, huge city park. Lot of history.
